We got married on May 3, 2004. Instead of taking a honeymoon, we took a familymoon to Walt Disney World that fall. I have been dying to go back ever since.
Initially, I was promised a trip for my 40th birthday however the world had a pandemic that I would love to forget about.
We have decided to head back for our 10th anniversary. It is not until 2014 but I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to experience Walt Disney World Christmas so we are going to take our anniversary trip early.
We are heading down in November this year to celebrate a little early. Of course, we are taking the kids just like last time so I guess we can call this familymoon 2.0
I am more nervous heading down this trip. We we went in 2004 we were carting around a toddler in a stroller. Now that toddler will be a 12-year-old boy with ASD. I am unsure what to expect but I am getting as much knowledge as possible and working with a Disney travel agent who is a Certified Autism Travel Planner.
I am looking forward to sharing my worries, my research and my excitement here on the blog and over on the gram.
