When I “retired” from blogging part of the reason was I no longer loved it. It was all about the mighty dollar. The professional look. The professional writing. Want to write about my kids? Better have a business spin to it. Want to write just for the sake of writing. NAH that isn’t what people want to see.
I brought the blog back from the dead 2 years ago and still didn’t blog. I couldn’t bring myself to be old school. Well no more. I miss old school blogging. Will it get me a butt ton of views? No. Will I be a top blogger invited to cool things? No. Will it make me happy? Yes!

That is what matters most anyway. What makes me happy. I am bringing this blog back to life for me. If cool things come out of it, awesome, but I am blogging for me when it comes to the bottom line.
I hope to find people who like to read what I have to write. I also hope to find other old school bloggers. Blogging isn’t dead. It just is no longer main stream.
Don’t forget though I am still all over the IG. So let’s connect. Let’s share our lives and not feel so damn lonely anymore.
i kn0w i’m incredibly late, but i found your post while looking for remaining oldschool bloggers and i love how short and sweet it was. “Blogging isn’t dead. It just is no longer main stream.” that part really pins it down i think. We are being made to believe that if something isn’t marketable and/or something to profit off of then it’s not worth it and a waste of time. Well, time is all i have, i miss blogging, so here i am.
I’m gonna read a few more of your posts and maybe stick around 🙂
let’s bring back old school blogging!!
Nice to “meet” you. Will come visit ya.
